This was a new customer who expressed their interest in installing solar panels. The customer's primary motivation for this installation was their high electricity bills due to maintaining a heated swimming pool. To begin the process, we provided a complimentary quote where we discussed various packages and the estimated payback period. Given the customer's unique situation with the swimming pool, installing solar panels promised a significant reduction in their energy costs. This customer in particular had a good payback period of 5 years (shown in the graph below). Considering the customer's high energy consumption, we recommended our SunSynk solar package. However, since the customer primarily utilises solar energy during the day, they opted not to install a battery initially. Our team will carefully analyse the customer's energy usage data, and if they find that excess energy is being sent back to the grid, we will suggest installing a battery to maximise their solar energy utilisation.
